- Debra V. Matthews
Debra has had a passion for drawing and painting since childhood. After working for years in the field of graphic arts, the desire for more freedom in the creative process led her to pursue a career as an oil painter. While choosing to portray her subjects realistically, Debra's work is not photo-realistic in the least. Her work is infused with life and energy expressed in vibrant color, lively brushwork and bold gestures. Strongly influenced by the work of famous impressionist portrait painter John Singer Sargent, Debra works towards a higher degree of excellence with each new painting.
- Sharon Will
Sharon has a passion for painting directly from life, as opposed to getting her subject matter from photographs. That’s why you can find Sharon painting at parks, gardens and landmarks throughout Michigan. A Macomb County resident, Sharon has recently been awarded top honors in two national painting competitions. Sharon won Best of Show for her still life “Painting Projects” at the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS) competition in Ohio.
